Nanjing Massacre Memorial
Sorry we're a bit behind on our posts, but we wanted to record our visit to the Nanjing Massacre Memorial. Its a beautiful monument, which gives a very detailed and graphic description of everything that took place. It was all a bit heavy, but I think we both appreciated the opportunity to learn more about Nanjing's history. Although I won't go into much detail I still think its worth looking up and learning about. It was pretty shocking to learn what they went through.
Wow. Horrible. I just skimmed through a Wikipedia page about it. How awful!
ReplyDeletewow! When you think of China's history you always think of it as 1000's of years old. But to have it have happened not that long ago is crazy!
